The play explores themes of love, missed opportunities, and the enduring bond of friendship. The simplicity of the staging — actors reading letters aloud — emphasizes the intimacy and emotional depth of their relationship. Ultimately, Over the years Love Letters remains so popular because it is a tender examination of human connection and the complexities of love.
